40.5 Million Euros campaign to promote Spain as ideal sports tourism destination.

 The Spanish Government has approved a plan of important initiatives to modernize tourism infrastructures in Spain and also a strong marketing campaign with a focus on sports tourism as a key strategy for the future of tourism in this country. For this the Spanish Government has given green light for a credit line of 200 million euros for project that aims to modernize and upgrade the Spanish tourism infra structure available.

The 40.5 million euros marketing campaign promoting Spain as an ideal sports destination will include the following 32 markets: Germany, Austria, Bélgium, Denmark, Eslovenia, Estonia, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Letonia, Lituania, Noruay, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, UL, Check Republic, Russia, Sueden, Suitzerland, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, México, China, South korea, India, Japan, Singapure and Australia. The marketing campaign includes traditional media, TV, radio, themed channels and Sporting events.
