Centre of Portugal

This region separates the cool green meadows of the North from the more arid pastures of Southern Portugal. This area is notable for the many spa resorts dotted around the countryside, such as Luso, Curia and S. Pedro do Sul.

In this area you will also find Coimbra, where is located one of the world´s oldest Universities. This city was the birthplace of 6 Portuguese kings along our history.
