Archipelago of Azores

Located between Europe and the United States, the nine-island Atlantic archipelago of Azores is still one of Europe´s best-kept secrets. It is perfect for nature lovers.

This archipelago is divided in three geographical groups. The Eastern Group, which comprises Santa Maria and São Miguel, is 1,400 km away from the European mainland; the Central Group includes Faial, Graciosa, Pico, São Jorge and Terceira; finally the Western Group comprises Corvo and Flores and is about 1,800 km away from the closest point of the North-American Continent.

This destination is perfect for outdoor activities such as whale watching, scuba diving, nature walks, mountain biking, golf and sailing.
